Lately, I have been very interested in eating healthy. This isn't just because it is good for me, but also because I am intrigued by natural foods, such as fruits and vegetables. It amazes me that you can plant a few seeds that will group up to be a plant or tree that yields delicious, juicy fruits that we can eat and that are good for us. In my genius hour project, I have decided to create a blog where I can organize information I find about eating healthy. I also will make meal ideas and include some thoughts on fitness as well.
How to Tell if a Food is Healthy
Many people already know that fruits and vegetables are healthy choices, but with many other foods, it can be difficult to tell the difference of whether the food is nutritious or just delicious.
When trying to find healthy food at stores, it is important to read the labels. Notice the ingredients label. If you can pronounce the majority of the foods in the ingredients label, there's a better chance that the food is good choice. The ingredients are also listed in order from most to least used, so |
